چکیده
Abstract As modern industry advances, the demand for more time and cost effective machining is rising. In order to achieve high levels of standard during it necessary employ sophisticated techniques precise prediction various important parameters that relate processes. Such technique implementation finite element modelling (FEM) which can become a valuable tool researchers engineers alike. this work, 3D Al7075-T6 drilling process with solid carbide tooling being presented. DEFORM3D™ analysis (FEA) software was utilized simulating based on frequently used cutting conditions; speed 100m/min feed 0.15mm/rev, 0.20mm/rev 0.25mm/rev respectively. approximate complex phenomena occur drilling, most critical factors were considered in presented model such as developed friction, heat transfer damage interaction between workpiece. Additionally, validation generated results thrust force torque performed by comparing simulated experimental data. Three experiments carried out aid CNC center four component dynamometer acquire values torque. Most simulations yielded accordance ones agreement percentage reaching 95% cases both torque, confirming validity models accuracy results.

vibration drilling tool and thrust force investigation in vibratory drilling process of al 2024-t6
vibratory drilling (vd)process is a new modern technology where longitudinal wave with high frequency (more than 16 khz) and low amplitude (usually between 2 up to 30 µm) is superimposed on the movement of cutting tool, resulting in connection and disconnection of cutting tool engagement with workpiece. in this study, in order to perform vibratory drilling process, two vibration tools are desig...
متن کاملInvestigation on the Effect of a Pre-Center Drill Hole and Tool Material on Thrust Force, Surface Roughness, and Cylindricity in the Drilling of Al7075
Drilling is one of the most useful metal cutting processes and is used in various applications, such as aerospace, electronics, and automotive. In traditional drilling methods, the thrust force, torque, tolerance, and tribology (surface roughness) are related to the cutting condition and tool geometry. In this paper, the effects of a pre-center drill hole, tool material, and drilling strategy (...

This paper presents the application of neuro-fuzzy approach for modelling tool life, torque and thrust force in drilling operation for set of given process parameters, namely cutting speed, feed rate and drill diameter. The proposed approach uses a hybrid-learning algorithm i.e., combination of the back-propagation gradient descent method and least squares method, to identify premise and conseq...
متن کاملAn analytical finite element technique for predicting thrust force and torque in drilling
An analytical finite element technique was developed for predicting the thrust force and torque in drilling with twist drills. The approach was based on representing the cutting forces along the cutting lips as a series of oblique sections. Similarly, cutting in the chisel region was treated as orthogonal cutting with different cutting speeds depending on the radial location. For each section, ...
متن کاملFEM investigation of drilling conditions on heat generation during teeth implantation
Abstract The first step of implanting teeth is to drill a hole in the jaw bone. Excessive temperature produced during drilling is one of the destructive factors for bony tissue. If the temperature generation during surgical drilling exceeds the critical temperature, it could lead to osteonecrosis. This research intends to study drilling parameters such as drilling speed, feed rate, cooling con...
